Walker Brooks is in his first season with Carolina Athletics. He serves as the primary media contact for multiple teams and produces written and social media content for the programs.

Brooks was the primary contact for the University of Washington’s nationally-ranked Beach Volleyball program. The 2024 season was historic for the Beach Dawgs, as they advanced to the National Championship for the first time in program history.

Brooks graduated with his master’s degree from UW’s Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership M.Ed. program. He received two bachelor’s degrees -- one in Spanish Language and one in Broadcast Production from Washington State University in 2023 while working as the Student Assistant Director of Communication for the cross country and track and field programs.

Brooks worked as a Media Relations Representative for the Seattle Kraken and freelanced for Seattle University’s athletic communication department in 2023-24.
