Sallie Davis is from Asheville, N.C., and graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Biology and Exercise and Sports Science.

As an undergraduate student, she worked as a customer service representative in the Athletic Ticket Office at UNC, was a three-year member and section captain of the Marching Tar Heels, a member of the club ultimate frisbee team and wrote a thesis on the Transfer Portal in ACC men’s basketball. During the summers, she worked as a swim coach and as the Assistant Director of a water sports camp in Maryland, Echo Hill Camp.

Currently, she is completing her master’s degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina.

During her time at South Carolina, she worked for Coach Jeff Poppell as a manager for the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams and worked as a teaching assistant for Dr. Tarlan Charhardovali, where she helped study gender inequity and discrimination in collegiate and professional sports. Davis expected to graduate in December of 2024.
