2014-15: Finished 28-8 overall and 13-2 in duals at 141 pounds as a redshirt sophomore • Went 2-2 at the NCAA Championships as the No. 12 seed with wins over Mike Pongracz of Chattanooga and Steven Rodrigues of Illinois • Fell to 13-seed Randy Cruz of Lehigh one match short of the blood round • Finished as the ACC runner-up at 141 after defeating eventual All-America finisher Kevin Jack of NC State 6-1 in the semifinals • Won the Roadrunner Open with a 4-0 performance • Also finished second at the Hokie Open and fifth at the Southern Scuffle • Beat No. 15 Dean Heil of Oklahoma State in dual action • Finished the season with a pin, five major decisions and two tech falls • Opened the season with wins in 15 of 16 matches.

2012-13: NCAA qualifier at 133 pounds • Finished with a 21-13 record that includes a 9-3 mark in duals and a pair of ACC wins • Had three pins and four wins by major decision • Took second at the Hokie Open with five wins • Also finished fourth at the Wolfpack Open and seventh at the Nittany Lion Open • Defeated Daryl Thomas of Illinois in the opening round of the NCAA Championships.
