The North Carolina men's and women's fencing squads are in action Sunday at the U.S. Collegiate Squad Championships in New York.

Hosted by New York University, the event is taking place at the Coles Sports Center in Manhattan. The top squads in each weapon (epee, foil and sabre) will be crowned champions in the second-year event.

The Championships will feature a relay-scoring structure to 45 points, rather than the typical protocol of regular NCAA fencing competitions. A champion will be crowned for each weapon (men and women). There will also be an overall champion for both the men and the women combining all three weapons.
