CHAPEL HILL -- Tar Heel head coach Jan Mann talks with Dave Nathan of the Tar Heel Sports Network during Carolina's spring break trip.  Next up for the Tar Heels is the SunTrust Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.  The 54-hole event will be played March 15-17 at Mark Bostick Golf Course, a par 70, 7,074-yard layout.  Live scoring will be available on GoHeels.com.

On the first leg of the spring break trip, Carolina tied for fifth at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C.  Junior Casey Grice led the Tar Heels by tying for fifth place in the individual race, her fourth top-10 finish this year.  Freshman Elizabeth Mallett tied for 17th place and senior Courtney Gunter tied for 27th, competing as an individual.  Junior Katherine Perry tied for 30th, junior Jackie Chang tied for 32nd and sophomore Maia Schechter tied for 51st.  The 54-hole event was played at Long Cove Club which features a par 71, 6,211-yard layout.
