It has been an exciting week for the program. On Monday, the Tar Heels gained its highest national ranking in three years, and Diamond DeShields was named ACC Rookie of the Week after her showing in two victories last week.
Thursday's game with Clemson will be another "Throwback Thursday" at Carmichael. Game day activities include 1/2 price concessions and DJ Forge spinning music from the decade of the 2000s.
The first 250 students will be given retro t-shirts.

For Clemson, Nikki Dixon earned ACC Player of the Week honors after averaging 27.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals in two games. She set her career high in points in both games, including 29 points and 11 boards in a 77-67 win over Pittsburgh.
