UNC Associate Head Coach Andrew Calder
"Good luck to Nebraska, they're a well-coached basketball team. [Jordan] Hooper can really play. They got a lot of good players, very good players. I see why they are picked to win the Big Ten. Very impressive team and good luck to them. The Tar Heels, first thank you Coach [Sylvia] Hatchell. With her one-on-one session with Xylina [McDaniel] yesterday and also being at the team meal today was great. She gave the team a great pep talk about protecting the home court, so thank you Coach Hatchell. You had a major part in this win in many ways.
"We did a lot of good things tonight. We got down early. we did not panic. They took some open shots early but some tough shots also they made and that happens. But again, in the end we thought we could wear them down and we held them below 40-percent shooting. I think only Tennessee has shot 40.2-percent against us so that was our goal to hold teams below 40-percent shooting each game. We had more assists than turnovers again today, and we're proud of that because we're sharing the basketball. Could have had a few more, had a couple passes that need to be a little more pinpoint there. We had a couple open players, but really proud of the team."

On the depth of the team
"So far this season a lot of our players have had tremendous games so it's really hard to try to scout and stop one particular player on the team so it just opens everything up for everyone else. Everybody is going to get their shots off because they want to focus on one player but they can't because all of us can produce - the bench, everybody. It's good because not everybody wants to play 40 minutes a game; you're going to wear yourself out. So you want to be able to trust your teammates like we do to come in for you, give you a break. Do what they're supposed to do then you go back out and contribute some more."

On her mindset in the second half of the game
"Well at first, my offensive game wasn't going well so I was like I'll just go to my other aspect of my game which is defense. Then my defense started coming along, and that's when I started adding fuel to the fire on offense. So my defense made my offense come."
