Enjoyed a break-out season, setting career high totals in nearly every statistical category • Started all 32 games • Averaged 10.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game • ACC Ranks: 4th in double-doubles (8), 6th in rebounding (7.8), 9th in blocked shots (1.3), ninth in offensive rebounds (2.9) and sixth in defensive rebounds (4.9) • Shot a team-best 49.3 percent (147-of-298) from the field and led all Tar Heel players with 250 rebounds • Scored in double figures on 18 occasions, including a pair of 20-point efforts • Scored a career-high 23 points on 11-of-12 shooting at Boston College • Had 20 points and 13 rebounds against FDU • Honored as the team’s overall champion at the Year-End Banquet by receiving the most cumulative points in all stat categories maintained throughout the season.

Continued to play a key reserve role in second season at North Carolina • Appeared in all 35 games off the bench • Averaged 1.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game • Set career highs with nine points and seven rebounds in the 71-63 victory over No. 7 Florida State • Also had six points in a victory over ETSU.

Developed into the top frontcourt reserve player for the Tar Heels in first healthy season • Appeared in 34 games and made one start at Virginia on Feb. 20 • Averaged 1.4 points and 1.3 rebounds for the season • Saw action in all seven postseason games – three in ACC Tournament and four in the NCAA Tournament • Scored a season-high six points on two occasions against Arkansas State (Nov. 28) in Cancun and versus Charleston Southern on Dec. 14 • Scored five points in three contests, including against No. 8 Maryland on Jan. 5 • Played a season-high 18 minutes at No. 2 Notre Dame on Feb. 27.

Talented post player who impressed during the team’s European tour in the summer of 2012 • Suffered a torn ACL during preseason practice and received a medical redshirt after missing the entire season.


Associated Press All-State selection as a junior • Owns a plethora of school records at Village Christian Academy, including career points, career rebounds and career blocked shots • Two-time Cape Fear Independent Conference Player of the Year, leading the CFIC in scoring, blocks and steals after averaging over 22 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior • Helped lead VCA to four-straight NCISAA state championship tournament appearances and earned NCISAA All-State honors her final three seasons of high school • Daughter of Garland and Mamie Summers.
