WBCA All-America Honorable Mention • All-ACC first team • Named to watch list for the Naismith Trophy, the Wade Trophy and the Wooden Award • Made the midseason list for the Naismith and Wooden awards • Preseason All-ACC honoree • Became the 35th player in program history to score 1,000 career points • Her 1,053 points is the second most ever scored in first two seasons at UNC, behind only Marion Jones (1,122) • Started all 35 games • Averaged a team-leading 15.8 points per game and ranked second with 7.6 rebounds per outing • ACC ranks: 8th in scoring (15.8), 11th in rebounding (7.6) and 11th in defensive rebounds (5.0) • Scored a career-high 29 points in the double-overtime win at Rutgers • Scored in double figures 32 times and led the team in scoring on 17 occasions • Scored 20 or more points nine times • Had eight double digit rebound totals, including a career-best 15 caroms against Boston College • Was named the 15th best player in the country by espn.com at the beginning of the season.
FRESHMAN SEASON 2013-14
Accurate long-range shooter with an equal ability to drive the ball to the rim • Appeared in 36 games and started the final 30 contests of the season • Named a Full Court second team Freshman All-America • Also landed on the All-ACC Freshman Team • Earned three ACC Rookie of the Week citations • Ranked second on the team and 18th in the ACC with 13.9 points per game • Her 5.5 rebounds per game was third most on the club • Led the team and was fifth in the ACC after shooting 41.8 percent (64-of-153) from three-point range • That figure is the second best in program history • Her 501 total points is the second-highest total by a Carolina freshman • Scored in double figures in 27 games and scored at least 20 points on five occasions • Was the team's top rebounder in eight games • Had a season-high 30 points in just her third collegiate game in a road win at UCLA on Nov. 17 • It marked the most points by a UNC freshman since Ivory Latta in 2003-04 • Had 24 points and 10 rebounds in the win at #3 Duke on Feb. 10 • Went for 17 points and 10 boards in the win over #8 Maryland in the ACC Tournament • Had 19 points and nine rebounds in the loss at Stanford in the NCAA Tournament Regional Final game in Stanford, Calif., on April 1.
2013 WBCA High School All-America honorable mention • Ranked the No. 7 player in the class and the No. 4 guard according to ESPN HoopGurlz • 2012 Gatorade Georgia Player of the Year • Member of the U18 USA Basketball National Team as well as the 3-on-3 National Team • Named 3A state player of the year three times • Led Washington County to a three-year record of 88-4 that included a perfect 32-0 record and a 3A state championship in 2010-11 • Averaged 32.0 points and 8.5 rebounds en route to a state runner-up finish as a junior in 2011-12 • Missed most of her senior season with a knee injury • Born January 12, 1995 • Daughter of Dr. Allen and Annie Gray.
