North Carolina head volleyball coach Joe Sagula sat down with GoHeels.com recently to recap the Tar Heels' 2012 season. 

Playing in their 14th NCAA tournament, the Tar Heels bowed out of the second round after a close 3-2 loss to Iowa State on Nov. 30. Carolina topped California 3-1 in the first round of NCAA play on Nov. 29.

UNC closed out the 2012 campaign with a 26-6 overall mark, finishing third in the ACC with a 16-4 conference record.
