CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina moved up to No. 24 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association national poll and is No. 19 in the NCAA RPI rankings.
UNC improved from No. 25 in last week's poll. The Tar Heels have received votes in each poll this season and have been as high as No. 22 in the Nov. 5 rankings.
This past week, Carolina swept both Virginia Tech on Friday and Virginia on Saturday for Senior Night at Carmichael to improve to 24-5 overall and 15-4 in ACC play.
The Tar Heels close out regular season play this Wednesday with a home 2 p.m. match against NC State. Admission is free to all UNC volleyball matches.
