Sophomore Season: Played in 44 games, starting five as the designated player • Posted a .289 batting average with 38 hits and 14 RBIs as a solid pinch hitter • Tallied three hits in a win over NC Central (3/19) • Recorded her first home run against Georgia Tech (4/21). 

Freshman Season: Appeared in seven games as a catcher and pinch hitter her freshman year • Scored her first career run against Longwood February 22 • Registered her first hit April 19 against Hampton University.

Prep: Lettered four years in softball, playing first and third base as well as spending time as catcher and shortstop • Selected all-state and all-conference for four years • Voted team MVP in 2010 and 2011 • Had the top batting average in North Carolina in 2011 • Member of 2011 NCISAA 2A State Championship team and runner-up in 2010 • 2011 Eastern Plains Independent 2A Conference Player of the Year • 2011 Alumni Student Athlete of the Year • Earned the Offensive Award in 2007 and 2009 • 2011 North Carolina Academic Scholar.

Personal: Double majoring in exercise and sport science • Participates in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy as part of the GAP Year program and serves as a Creed Mentor • Career plans are to become a physical therapist • Daughter of Doug and Cassie Causey • Born on Jan. 30 in Greenville, N.C.
