2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in all-but-one game as a sophomore, making 55 starts at second base • Hit .304 with 13 doubles, a triple, eight home runs, 34 RBIs and 42 runs scored • Ranked in the top 10 in the ACC in doubles, walks (30), hit by pitch (8), sacrifice bunts (6) and sacrifice flies (3) • Was especially effective during ACC play, hitting .324 with a .577 slugging percentage, ranking second in doubles and fifth in runs to earn her second consecutive All-ACC honor • Second on the team with nine multi-RBI performances while tallying 12 multi-hit games • Reached base in 22 consecutive games from March 16 to April 24 and in 33 of the final 34 games of the year • After tying the record as a freshman, she once again placed in the top-10 all time in walks.Click for expanded season details
Led UNC with eight hits on opening weekend, hitting .533 with a .933 slugging percentage • Hit a two-run double and a sac fly for three RBIs on opening day against North Dakota State (2/12) • Was a triple shy of the cycle at Texas (2/12), leading off the game with a home run, then hitting a single, a double and a walk with a total of three runs scored • Went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, two runs and two stolen bases against Arkansas (2/14) • Walked in all three plate appearances, with two stolen bases and two runs, against IUPUI (2/27) • Drove in the game-winning run with a fifth-inning home run against Fairfield (2/28) • Reached base all five times at Elon, going 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks, a hit by pitch and three runs scored • Arrived safely all three times against Syracuse (3/12) with a single, a double, a run and a hit by pitch • Followed by going 2-for-3 with an RBI in the Syracuse finale (3/13), leading UNC to the 2-1 win • Homered in back-to-back games against NC State (3/16) and Pitt (3/19), including a three-run shot in the sixth at Pitt • Reached base in her first three appearances in game two against Florida State (3/26) with a single, a walk and a two-run home run, adding two runs scored and a stolen base • Hit a two-run home run in the first inning against UNCG, then made a game-ending diving catch double play to seal up the victory • Walked and scored twice in game two against BC (4/9), executing a double steal with Mateen to take the lead in the fifth • Slugged her first triple of the season, then drew a bases-loaded walk to give UNC an early lead in the BC finale (4/10) • Hit a two-run double to drive in the game-winning runs in the No. 18 Notre Dame opener (4/24), adding a walk and two-runs scored • Hit a pair of RBI singles and walked and scored against Campbell • Opened the first Georgia Tech game (5/7) with a two-run home run • Walked and scored twice in game two, then went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs in the Georgia Tech finale (5/8) • Went 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored against No. 6 Florida State in the ACC Semifinals to earn a spot on the ACC All-Tournament Team • Went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI against Longwood in NCAA Regionals game 1 (5/20).
2015 (Freshman): Started all 53 games at second base • Earned All-ACC First Team honors • Named one of 25 finalists for NFCA Freshman of the Year • Led the team in batting average (.418), on-base percentage (.558) and hits (66), and was second in runs scored with 53 • Blasted seven home runs, including a grand slam at Notre Dame in extra-innings (4/26).
Prep: Hit .639 and a state record 64 RBIs her senior year while leading her team to a state championship • Registered a .568 batting average as a junior with 67 hits, which was just two short of the state record • Helped team to 2013 ASA national title • Three-time 4A state champion • Named North Carolina State Player of the Year twice • Earned 2013 All-America honors • Also played basketball • Member of the Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Spanish Club.
