2016 (Senior): Saw significant playing time as a senior, appearing in 53 games with 46 starts, seeing action at first base, pitcher and designated player • Hit .298 with five doubles, a triple, four home runs, 17 walks and 28 RBIs • Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, leading all ACC players in fielding chances (112) without making an error • Made 17 appearances at pitcher, going 2-3 with a save over 47 innings, making five starts and two complete games while posting a 6.85 ERA • Ranked in the top 10 in the ACC during conference games in saves, relief appearances, a fewest walks, triples and home runs allowed.Click for expanded season details
Batting: Went 3-for-3 with a double against North Dakota State (3/13) • Hit a memorable first career home run against Northwestern (2/19), a walk-off three-run shot in the bottom of the seventh • Went 2-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs at Elon including a two-run double in the seventh • Went 3-for-4 with four RBIs in the Louisville finale (4/3) then went in to pitch with the bases loaded and no outs in the seventh inning and earned her first career save • Doubled and hit a three-run home run in the final two innings at BC (4/9) to give UNC a 6-2 victory in the series opener • Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored at Charlotte (4/13) • Led off the second inning with a home run in game two at Georgia Tech (5/8) • Broke the game open with a two-run home run in the sixth inning against Boston College in the ACC Tournament • Went 3-for-4 with an RBI against Longwood (5/21) at NCAA Regionals.
Pitching: Closed out the game against No. 2 Michigan (3/4), allowing just one hit and two walks with no earned runs over the final 1.2 innings • Finished out the game vs. Oregon State, needing just three pitches to get the final two outs • Registered a career-high five strikeouts over the final 2.1 innings at Pitt (3/20) • Tossed five shutout innings of relief against No. 11 Florida State in game two (3/26), then made her first start of the season in the series finale • Earned her first career victory in game two vs. Louisville (4/3) in her first-ever complete game • Picked up her second win at BC in game two (4/9), allowing three runs over 4.1 innings • Came in in relief against No. 6 Florida State in the ACC Semifinals and retired all three batters she faced.
2015 (Junior): Made 10 appearances inside the circle in 2015, with one start • Struck out four batters while walking 15, finishing the year with a 4.30 ERA • Hit .333 across nine at-bats, bringing in two runs • ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in 13 games, starting two as the designated player, and made one appearance inside the circle.
2013 (Freshman): Had eight appearances in the circle, starting one game and combining for two shutouts • Totaled 9.2 innings with three strikeouts and a 5.07 ERA • NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.
Prep: Two-time all-region and four-year all-district selection • Selected second-team all-state as a junior and first-team all-state as a senior • Posted a .529 batting average her senior year • Played for the KC Originals Gold travel team • Graduated top 10 percent of her class • Member of the National Honor Society • Named academic all-state.
Personal: Majoring in exercise and sport science • Participates in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy as a CREED Mentor and a Veteran Leader • Named to UNC Dean’s List • Born Aug. 5 in Columbia, Mo. • Has a brother • Lauren Nicole Fuller is the daughter of Tony and Sue Fuller.
