Freshman Season: Named to 2011 All-ACC First Team and ACC All-Tournament Team • Tied the single season school record for wins (27) and broke the single-season record for innings pitched (267.1) • Pitched a perfect game Feb. 27 vs. Penn State, recording six strikeouts • Tossed second career no-hitter May 13 against Boston College with 11 strikeouts • NFCA National Player of the Week March 1 and four-time ACC Pitcher of the Week • Notched 10 or more strikeouts in six outings • Struck out 14 batters in a win over UNC Wilimington Feb. 23 • Posted an ACC-best nine wins in a league-high 15 starts • Tossed 11 complete-game shutouts.

Prep: Three-time all-state performer in Georgia • Named the GHSA pitcher of the year, Georgia Dugout Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year en route to leading Marist to two 4A State Championships in 2007 and 2008 • Won the 2010 ASA National Championships pitching in every win for East Cobb Bullets.

Personal: Majoring in public relations • Participates in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy as part of the GAP Year program and also serves as a Creed Mentor and a Carolina Softball Leadership Council member • Her father played baseball at IUP • Born June 25, 1991, in Chapel Hill, N.C. • The daughter of Frank and Lindy Spingola • Has one brother and one sister.
