Four Tar Heels head this weekend to the 2012 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. The tournament runs September 29-October 7, 2012 at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Carolina's entries include senior William Parker, junior Nelson Vick, sophomore Esben Hess-Olesen and freshman Brett Clark.
Clark and Parker will begin play in the Pre-Qualifying Singles phase of the tournament which runs Saturday and Sunday. Vick and Hess-Olesen are entered in the Qualifying singles tournament which runs Monday through Wednesday of next week.
Vick, a transfer from Ohio State, and Hess-Olesen are entered in Qualifying Doubles which runs Tuesday and and Wednesday. Clark and Parker may also play doubles in the Qualifying phase if both players advances through pre-qualifying in singles (there is no pre-qualifying phase of doubles).
