FRESHMAN SEASON (2015-16): Impressed during his first season with the Tar Heels, finishing with an 18-9 singles record • Posted a 2-1 record against ranked opponents • Ended with a 13-5 record in doubles play: 5-2 with Blaine Boyden, 1-0 with Andrew Gores, and 7-3 with Ronnie Schneider • Straight set victory against Henrik Wiersholm of Virginia put the Tar Heels on the board in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship, which the team would go on to win • Played one of his best matches of the season against Tulane, winning in both singles and doubles to help send the Tar Heels to the NCAA Round of 16 in Tulsa, Okla. • Named to the 2015-16 ACC Academic Honor Roll. 

JUNIOR/PREP: A blue chip recruit on TennisRecruiting.net • Graduate of Florida Virtual School • Ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation, with an ITF ranking of No. 105 in the world • Three-time junior national champion and five-time finalist • Traveled extensively on the ITF junior world tour and played in the top USTA junior tournaments, excelling in both singles and doubles • Reached the singles final of the Grade 4 ITF tournaments in Atlanta and Guatemala in 2014 • Made the round of 16 at Grade 1 events in Tulsa, College Park, Thailand, and the Easter Bowl • Won the USTA Southern L1 in Raleigh, N.C. and made the round of 16 at the U.S. National Championships in Kalamazoo, which earned him a gold ball and a berth in the Junior U.S. Open • Won Grade 2 events in India and Canada in doubles on the ITF circuit and made the semifinals of the Easter Bowl.

Favorite thing about competing for Coach Paul: His care for his players to succeed in life even after they graduate from UNC
