JUNIOR SEASON (2015-2016): Overall 26-8 singles record, with a 20-6 mark in dual singles matches • Tallied a 24-10 overall doubles record: 3-1 with Andrew Gores, 6-1 with Ronnie Schneider, and 15-8 with Brayden Schnur • Started the season ranked at No. 89 and reached a career high No. 41 Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis rank in February • Finished the season ranked No. 21 in doubles with Schnur • Clinched the ITA National Indoor Team Championship match with a win over No. 78 Mac Styslinger of Virginia • Named to the ITA National Indoor Team Championship All-Tournament Team for his play at the No. 4 spot • Paired with Schnur to beat the eighth-ranked doubles pair of Thai-Son Kwaitkowski and Mac Styslinger to help the Tar Heels win the doubles point against No. 3 Virginia • Defeated No. 18 Herkko Pollanen of Ohio State in the quarterfinals of the ITA National Indoor Team Championship • Named ACC Player of the Week on Feb. 9 after the team's upset against No. 5 Oklahoma • Went 4-1 against ranked opponents • Earned All-America honors in doubles after reaching the NCAA quarterfinals with Schnur, the first UNC doubles team to do so since 2010. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-2015): Went 30-12 in singles, playing mostly in the No.4 spot • Recorded a 24-8 doubles record • 11 singles wins in the fall tied Brayden Schnur for the team high • Made an impressive run through the ITA All-American Championships pre-qualifying and qualifying singles draws, totaling six wins en route to the tournament's main field • Defeated two, ranked singles opponents: No. 113 Nick Naumann of Texas at the Napa Valley Invite and No. 118 Beck Pennington of Kentucky at the ITA qualifying • Advanced to the singles Round of 16 at the ITA Carolinas Regional • Paired with Ronnie Schneider to register five doubles wins across three events. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-2014): Came in and contributed right away in singles and doubles lineup for the Tar Heels • Did not play in the fall of 2013 but became one of the key players on the team in the spring semester • Finished with an overall 19-7 singles record and a 24-4 doubles mark • Went 9-1 at No. 4 singles spot and 7-4 at No. 5 • Was solid against ACC opponents, tallying an 8-4 singles record • Teamed with doubles partner Ronnie Schneider to compile the best conference record of any No. 3 doubles team in the ACC with a 10-1 mark against league opponents • One of four freshman to provide a key singles point in UNC's victory over No. 19 Illinois in February • Teamed with Schneider in the same match to defeat Illinois' 31st-ranked doubles team with a score of 6-2 • Clinched matches against No. 9 Notre dame, Florida State, and No. 47 Miami with singles wins • Tallied doubles wins with Schneider in those same three matches • Paired with Schneider to rally from 7-3 down for a crucial doubles win in the second round of the NCAA Tournament • Duo went 4-0 in the NCAA Tournament, earning a spot on the All-NCAA Tournament team • Played all but one doubles match as a freshman with fellow Midwesterner Schneider, going 23-4 as a pair • 4-2 record in three-set singles matches. 

JUNIOR/PREP: Attended the Roeper School in Birmingham, Mich. • Reached the final of the 2013 Kentucky National Open in singles in the boys 18s before losing to UNC teammate Ronnie Schneider • Won the doubles championship in the 18s in that event • Took fourth place in doubles at the winter nationals in the boys 18s • Reached finals of National Open in Virginia boys 18s • Finalist of the National Open in Dayton, Ohio in boys 18s • Finished in the Top 20 in the country in the event • By the end of his senior year of high school, he moved up to 12th on TennisRecruiting.net in the 2013 class.

The Best Thing About Being A Tar Heel Tennis Player Is: being surrounded by great people in a fantastic environment.

My Favorite Thing About Playing For Coach Paul Is: he wants what’s best for the team and he really pushes us to be our best.

Since Last Year The Aspect Of My Game I've Worked On The Most is: movement and decision making.

My greatest strength as a tennis player is: my disregard for shot tolerance.

Away from the tennis court and academic pursuits I like to spend time: watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers win championships.

The best movie I’ve seen recently is: The Dark Knight.

The music act I’d most like to see in person is: Eminem.
