BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Two University of North Carolina golfers are participating as individuals in the Keith Hills Invitational. Reeves Zaytoun, a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C. is tied for 22nd after firing a 3-over-par 74 in the first round while Robert Register, a sophomore from Burlington, N.C., shot a 7-over 78 and is tied for 39th place.
The 54-hole event is being played at Keith Hills Country Club, Orange and Black courses, which features a par 71, 6.609-yard layout. There was a two-hour delay due to overnight rains as the first round began with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. and the second round was suspended at 7:30 p.m. due to darkness. The second round will be completed Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 followed immediately by the final round.
