Incoming UNC freshman Justin Jackson (Tomball, Texas) was named Co-Most Valuable Player of the 2014 McDonald's Boys Basketball All-America Game last evening in Chicago. Jackson scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed five rebounds for the East squad in a game that was won by the West, 105-102.
Jackson was one of three members of next year's freshman class at Carolina that played in the all-star game. Joel Berry (Apopka, Fla.) had seven points, four assists, one steal and no turnovers for the West and Theo Pinson (Greensboro) had three points, three assists and two rebounds for the East.
Jackson made 11 of 14 shots from the floor and handed out a pair of assists.
