2011 – Sophomore Season
Finished the regular season third on the team with 70 tackles, including 48 primary stops, and led the team with three interceptions for 20 yards • Also broke up two passes, recovered two fumbles and forced a fumble • Tied for sixth in the ACC with three interceptions • Posted six tackles against Missouri in the Independence Bowl • Intercepted a pass and had five tackles in a 37-21 win vs. Duke • Recorded a career-high 12 tackles, including seven solo stops and five assists, in a 3-point loss at Virginia Tech • Also had his first tackle for losses (1.5 for 14 yards) against the Hokies • Posted his first career double digit tackle game with 10 stops in a loss at NC State • Intercepted a pass at the goal line to stop a Wake Forest drive and had a tackle in the 49-24 win • Had a team-high eight tackles in a 59-38 loss to Clemson • Had two tackles in a 30-24 loss to Miami • Played primarily on special teams vs. Louisville after moving from corner to safety during that week of practice • Had three tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble in a 35-20 win at ECU • Posted seven tackles, recovered a fumble and had a 20-yard interception return in a loss at Georgia Tech • Matched his career-high with nine tackles and broke up a pass in a 28-17 win over Virginia • Posted two tackles and broke up a pass in a 24-22 victory vs. Rutgers • Started and had five tackles, which was second on the team, in the win over James Madison.

2010 – Freshman Season
Played in 10 games and started four as a true freshman cornerback • Made starts against Georgia Tech, Rutgers, East Carolina and Miami • Sprained his ankle against Miami and missed the next three games before returning against NC State • Finished the season with 32 tackles, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one interception • Had six tackles, including five primary hits, at Miami • Posted a season-high nine tackles, including a 3-yard tackle for loss, in Carolina’s first win at Virginia since 1981 • Broke up two passes in the win over Clemson • Had five tackles, all solo stops, in the win vs. East Carolina • Recorded two tackles and broke up a pass in a 17-13 win at Rutgers • Posted seven tackles, including six primary stops, against Georgia Tech • Had an outstanding debut vs. LSU in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta • Posted three tackles, forced two fumbles, broke up a pass and made an interception.
