2012 - Sophomore Season
Had 14 knockdowns and played all 72 snaps with an 89 percent grade at Duke • Played all 85 snaps and graded out at 85 percent in the win at Miami • Matched Jonathan Cooper with a team-high 14 knockdowns in the Virginia Tech game • Graded out at 80 percent with eight knockdowns in the win over East Carolina • Had 7 1/2 knockdowns in 53 plays at Louisville • Registered a team-high 14 knockdowns at Wake Forest • Graded out a team-best 95 percent with 17 knockdowns in 44 plays of the season opener against Elon.

2011 - Redshirt Freshman Season
Saw action on 318 snaps, grading out at 83 percent with 18 regular-season knockdowns • Appeared in nine of 13 games, starting two at center in place of Cam Holland • Graded out at 90 percent on 11 snaps against Duke • Played 31 snaps at Clemson and recorded five knockdowns • Saw action on 30 snaps against Wake Forest and graded out at 80 percent with three knockdowns • Started and played all 79 snaps against Miami, grading out at 84 percent with five knockdowns • Started and played 52 snaps against Louisville with a final grade of 84 percent • Played 21 snaps and graded out at 85 percent against East Carolina, his first extended action of the season • Saw action on six snaps in the season opener against James Madison.

Rated the No. 8 center in the country by Rivals.com and ESPN.com • Started at both offensive guard and defensive tackle as a senior • Had 42 tackles and three sacks on defense • Ranked the No. 15 player in Virginia by The Roanoke Times and SuperPrep • Named first-team all-state at the highest of three private school divisions for two straight seasons • Team advanced to the state playoffs as a senior and finished with a 7-4 mark • Played center as a sophomore and junior • Coached by Micky Sullivan.
