Played in all 13 games and made eight starts as a true freshman cornerback • Finished the regular season with 43 tackles, including 29 primary stops and 14 assists • Ranked second on the team with six pass breakups, had two quarterback hurries and intercepted a pass • Broke up a pass and had a tackle against Missouri in the Independence Bowl • Defended two passes and had two tackles in a 37-21 win over Duke • Had four tackles at Virginia Tech • Broke up a pass, recorded a tackle for loss and had five overall stops against NC State • Broke up a pass and had four tackles in a 49-24 win over Wake Forest • Started and recorded five tackles, including one for a loss, in a 59-38 loss to Clemson • Had one tackle in a 30-24 loss to Miami • Posted two tackles in a 14-7 victory over Louisville • Recorded a career-high nine tackles in a 35-20 victory at East Carolina • Made his first career interception vs. the Pirates (3-yard return), broke up another pass and had a quarterback pressure • Had one tackle in a loss at Georgia Tech • Recorded two tackles in a 28-17 victory vs. Virginia • Had two tackles and a quarterback pressure in a 24-22 victory vs. Rutgers • Made his first career start in place of suspended cornerback Charles Brown in the season opener vs. James Madison.
