2012 – Redshirt Freshman Season
Amassed 202 all-purpose yards, caught a pair of touchdown passes and blocked a punt in the loss at Louisville • Scored on a 44-yard wheel route and a 50-yard screen pass to go with four carries for 23 yards • His blocked punt in the fourth quarter led to a Carolina touchdown on the next offensive play • First Tar Heel running back with over 100 yards receiving since Anthony Elzy in 2010 (178 vs. NC State) • Carried 14 times for 70 yards and his first career touchdown at Wake Forest • Finished with 10 carries for 49 yards and a 30-yard reception in his collegiate debut against Elon.

2011: Had an outstanding spring and capped it off with a three-touchdown performance in the Spring Game • Caught two touchdown passes from Bryn Renner and ran for another score from eight yards out • Redshirted in 2011.

Named the top athlete in the state of North Carolina by the NCHSAA • Considered the No. 26 running back in the country by ESPNU • Ranked the No. 12 all-purpose running back and the No. 23 prospect in North Carolina by Rivals.com • Member of the Orlando Sentinel’s All-Southern Team • Ranked the No. 59 running back in the country by Scout.com • Rated the No. 1 running back in North Carolina and the No. 19 overall prospect in the state by SuperPrep • Rushed for 1,780 yards and 30 touchdowns and had 20 catches for 258 yards as a senior • Rushed for 97 yards and scored a touchdown to earn MVP honors of the state 2-A championship game, which Salisbury won • Also named the conference player of the year • Carried 161 times for 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior • Also had 11 receptions for 269 yards and four more scores • Outstanding track athlete who has run a 10.54 100-meter and 21.47 200-meter • Won back-to-back state 2-A titles in the 100 and 200m dashes • Coached by Joe Pinyan.
