Earned a double major in communication studies and sociology with a minor in business entrepreneurship ... Participated in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy as part of the Veteran Leaders program and earned the Tar Heel of Distinction Award, the academy's highest honor

2014: As a senior, served as team captain ... Earned second-team All-America honors and also was named All-South Region, All-ACC, All-NCAA Tournament and All-ACC Tournament ... Started all 23 games ... Scored two goals and had four assists ... Recipient of three team awards: Caitlin "Poppy" Van Sickle Defensive Player of the Year, Carmen and Michael Hooker Leadership Award and Anderson Mark of Excellence Most Valuable Player Award

2013: As a junior, played in all 24 games, starting 23 ... Earned All-ACC Tournament honors ... Named to the All-ACC Academic Team ... Scored seven goals (tied for fourth on the team) and added one assist ... Anchored the Tar Heel back line ... Recipient of the team's Carmen and Michael Hooker Leadership Award

2012: As a sophomore, switched from forward to back and played in all 25 games, starting 24 ... Scored eight goals and added one assist ... Made one defensive save ... Shared ACC Player of the Week honors on Sept. 11 after she scored five goals over a two game span and also helped the UNC defense to shutouts in both of those games

2011: As a redshirt freshman, came off the bench to play in all 25 games ... Scored 11 goals, tied for third on the team ... Also had three assists

2010: Enrolled at UNC in January of 2010 and practiced with the team through the spring semester ... Appeared in the first three games of the season then suffered an injury that kept her off the field for the rest of the fall ... Received a redshirt season and will have four years of eligibility remaining

Before UNC: Attended Peterhouse Girls School ... Member of the U21, U18 and U16 teams for Zimbabwe ... Also played two years of golf, representing Zimbabwe ... Member of the U16 and U18 tennis teams for Zimbabwe ... Singles and doubles champion 2004-09 ... Member of Zimbabwe's U18 and U16 squash teams ... Also in the debate club
