Eric Biener has been part of the University of North Carolina's Olympic Sports Athletic Performance staff since 2005. His primary responsibilities include the development and implementation of programming for the men's golf, gymnastics, rowing, men's and women's tennis, and track (mid-distance) teams. Biener also assists directly with the men's soccer program. During his time at Carolina, Biener has worked with almost every varsity sport, including significant time working with the baseball, men's lacrosse, women's soccer, volleyball, and wrestling teams.
Prior to Carolina, Biener was a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Central Florida. Biener assisted with the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for almost every varsity sport while at UCF.
While gaining experience in the field, Biener earned his bachelor's degree from UCF in Sports & Fitness and his master's degree from the University of North Carolina in Exercise Physiology. He also holds certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).
