Carolina Pro Timing Day

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - More than 50 NFL scouts and pro personnel are expected to be in Chapel Hill Tuesday for the Tar Heels' annual Pro Timing Day at Navy practice fields.  Fourteen Tar Heels, including several potential NFL draft picks, are scheduled to participate.  

The workouts begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Kenan Football Center with the vertical jump, broad jump, and the bench press. Players will begin outdoor workouts (40-yard dash, L-drill, etc.) and position group drills at 10:30 a.m.  

Pro Timing Day is closed to the public, but will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra with Dean Linke and former UNC All-America Brian Simmons on the call.  ESPN's Matt Barrie and Todd McShay will also provide live look-ins throughout the morning on SportCenter.  Viewers can also catch more commentary on UNC's Pro Timing Day on the NFL Network later that evening.
