UNC has won the last six head-to-head meetings with Miami (4-5, 3-1) going back to 2014. The Hurricanes opened league action with three wins, but was upended 5-2 at No. 11 Georgia Tech on Tuesday in their last match.
The Tar Heels also have the top ranked doubles team in Aney and Carter.
No. 29 Miami boasts a pair of ranked singles competitors: No. 7 Sinead Lohan and No. 66 Estela Perez-Somarriba. In doubles, Silvia Fuentes and Yolimar Ogando check in 73rd among 80 ranked teams.
Florida State (8-6, 1-3) fell out of the national rankings after being upended 5-2 to unranked Penn last Sunday, March 12 in Tampa, Florida. The Seminoles have the No. 56 doubles team of Nandini Das and Ariana Rahmanparast.
