Washington Mystics guard and current North Carolina assistant coach Ivory Latta has been named to the WNBA All-Star game to be held this Saturday, July 19, in Phoenix, Arizona. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. ET.
It is Latta's second all-star appearance. This season, she leads the team in scoring (11.1 ppg) and is second on the team in assists (3.0 apg).
She joins fellow Tar Heel Jessica Breland, who earned her first All-Star selection in 2014 for the Chicago Sky, to give Carolina two All-Stars this season.
