The thought of summing up these past four years in a couple paragraphs just sounds impossible. Coming to Carolina I never imagined anything could be up to this standard. You hear about the amazing academics and over-the-top athletics, but to truly go through it firsthand has been the time of my life.
Walking around campus and seeing everyone's clothing match the sky is one of the things I will miss most. There is something about that Carolina Blue that catches my eye every time. I genuinely believe it makes people happy when they see it. I know I'll be wearing it for the rest of my life.
Both academics and athletics have lived up their name at Carolina. People strive for the best at this university and we're given the best professors, advisors and tutors to thrive as student-athletes. I came to college with little idea of what career I wanted to pursue and Carolina gave me so many opportunities to make the right choice. Across the country people want to have this degree and say their alma mater is Carolina.
On the athletic side, I have had the most supportive coaches, teammates, and fans throughout my career. They've pushed me to become a better person in many aspects of life and are people I'm forever grateful for. In every practice, workout, and match they're my motivators as well as a big reason behind all my success. I thank them endlessly for all they've done and reminding me why it's a privilege to call myself a Tar Heel!
