Former University of North Carolina soccer standout and 2009 NCAA championship team member has been nmaed the PFA Women's Player of the Year award for 2014.
The shortlist for the second-ever Professional Footballers Association Women's Player of the Year award was exceptionally strong, especially considering it included last year's winner Kim Little. However, it was Bronze that received the most votes from her fellow PFA members and collected the 2014 award.
The 22-year-old Liverpool defender won the Women's Super League in her first season at the club and has gone on to feature regularly in the senior England set up after playing at all levels from Under 17.
Bronze has played most of her football as a right sided defender and has managed to get herself on the score sheet for Liverpool once during their title winning campaign last season.
She will hope to continue the same form that has seen her claim the 2014 PFA Women's Player of the Year Award in the 2014/15 season that has recently kicked off.
