Pregame fan activities at the Spring Game begin at 11 a.m. at the Bell Tower Park in front of Kenan Football Center with live music, food vendors and Chapel Hill Sportswear merchandise tents. Inflatable games, face painting, a football uniform display and photos with Rameses will take place in front of the football center.
Below The Line, a band out of Winston-Salem, N.C., will perform on the Bell Tower Park stage at noon. Below The Line was formed in 2009 and is comprised of Timmy Cooper, McKinley Pollock, Caroline Ririe, Jack Hauser, Eddie Pollock and Greg Hurley. Cooper, Pollock and Ririe will be freshmen at UNC next year. They play a mix of their own music along with their take on country, rock and alternative favorites.
An autograph session with UNC players will also be held from 12:45-1:45 p.m. in Bell Tower Park in front of the football center. Please note this is a location change from last year. The offense will sign autographs for the first 30 minutes until 1:15 p.m, followed by the defense and specialists from 1:15-1:45 p.m.
Additional activities, including the General Alumni Association's Bell Tower climb, will be held in the quads surrounding the Bell Tower.
Kenan Stadium gates will open at 11 a.m. and restrooms in the stadium will be open. Public parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis in the following lots: Bell Tower Deck, Rams Head Deck, Craige Deck, Jackson Deck, Cardinal Deck and Bowles Lot. Disability parking will be available in the Rams Head Deck. All parking will be $5 per vehicle.
The Spring Game format will be similar to last season with kickoff set for 3:04 p.m. The first two quarters will be 15 minutes in duration with normal clock stopages. The clock will run continuously in the second half for each of the final 15 minute quarters.
