Men's tennis hosts Virginia at 3 p.m. Baseball hosts Georgia Tech in a game that has been moved up to 5 p.m. on ESPN3. Track hosts the Carolina Relays. Women's swimming and diving and fencing continue NCAA Championships competition, and men's basketball faces Providence at 7:20 p.m. on TNT. Tar Heel Sports Network coverage begins at 6 p.m.

Lots of good history today: on this date in 1981 (82-68 over Kansas State), 1982 (70-60 over Villanova) and 1998 (75-64 over Connecticut), Carolina won games to advance to the Final Four. Also, on this date in 2009, Ty Lawson had an incredible second half performance against LSU:
