No. 38 Wake Forest is 8-1 overall and 1-1 in the league with a 4-3 win over Pittsburgh and a 4-3 loss to Florida State last week.
Tar Heel freshman Jamie Loeb continues to sit atop the ITA Division I singles rankings with her 30-2 record, while classmate Hayley Carter inched up two slots into eighth place in the singles rankings. She owns a 28-5 record in her first season at Carolina.
Caroline Price jumped up 15 spots this week, checking in at No. 52. She has an 11-2 record this season, 8-1 in dual matches this spring.
Whitney Kay is 82nd and Ashley Dai is 119th among the top 125 players in the country.
Carolina's three primary doubles teams are all ranked this week, beginning with the fifth ranked duo of Kay and Price. They are 6-1 this spring and 11-3 overall.
Loeb and Carter are ninth with a 20-3 record, and 6-0 in duals.
Entering the rankings for the first time this season is Laura Slater and Kate Vialle at No. 32. They have a 5-1 dual meet record and a 13-5 overall mark.
