Fedora Announces 2014 Signing Class

CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina head football coach Larry Fedora announced his third signing class Wednesday as 17 future Tar Heels signed National Letters of Intent to join the five student-athletes already enrolled at UNC. Allen Artis, Brandon Fritts, Elijah Hood, Bentley Spain and M.J. Stewart have been in the program since January, while the 17 who signed Wednesday will come to Chapel Hill this summer.

The 2014 class includes four defensive backs, four offensive linemen, three wide receivers, three defensive linemen, three linebackers, two tight ends, one quarterback, one running back and one place-kicker. Fedora's third signing class is ranked in the top 32 nationally, with a high ranking of No. 23 by Rivals.com.

Carolina opens spring practice March 5 and closes with the annual Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 12, at 3 p.m.
