CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- North Carolina senior midfielder Crystal Dunn (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) has been named a first-team All-America by the National Soccer Coaches Association for the 2013 season.
It is the fourth time in her career that Dunn has been named an All-America by the NSCAA. She was also a first-team All-America selection as a freshman in 2010 and as a junior in 2012. In 2011 during her sophomore season she was a third team All-America.
As a senior Dunn had an incredible season, being named ACC Offensive Player of the Year. She missed four games due to injuries and U.S. National Team call ups and was limited to 18 starts. But she led the Tar Heels in goals with 14, points with 34 and game-winning goals with six. She tied for second on the team in assists with six.
Last week, Dunn was also named one of 15 semifinalists for the 2013 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy.
