Tar Heels Hold Steady At #14 In AVCA Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. - North Carolina remains at No. 14 in this week's AVCA Division I Coaches Poll after an eventful 2-0 week on the road.

UNC, now 26-3 and 15-3 in conference play, leads the ACC in this week's poll, as Duke dropped to No. 15 (previous - 13), and Florida State moved up to No. 16 (previous- 19). View the complete poll here

The Tar Heels swept ACC rival NC State on Wednesday and then battled for a 3-2 win over Maryland on Sunday to give head coach Joe Sagula his 700th career victory. This is the first time North Carolina has reached 26 wins during the regular season since 2002.

Carolina has two final regular season matches this week - at Wake Forest on Wednesday at 1 p.m., and then a Duke on Friday at 3 p.m.

After the regular season concludes, UNC will find out its postseason fate when the NCAA selection show airs on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 9:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
