CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team has joined the fight against childhood cancer, partnering with the Vs. Cancer Foundation to help kids beat cancer wiht a major fund-raising event on the Carolina campus.
On Saturday Nov. 9th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the UNC Lacrosse team will be
shaving heads and saving lives in Ramshead's Parking Deck Plaza, right on UNC's South
Campus, before the annual UNC Homecoming Game against the University of Virginia at 12:30 p.m.
The men's lacrosse team will be shaving heads in honor of UNC women's basketball coach, Sylvia Hatchell, and her battle with leukemia.Want to help?

Where does the money go?
Half of all proceeds will benefit national childhood cancer research, and the other half will help kids directly at the the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
