CHAPEL HILL – Senior triple jumper Tristine Johnson is this week's featured UNC student on the University's Student Affairs Office webpage.
The "Meet the Students" section is a glimpse into the lives of high-caliber students at the University of North Carolina. Johnson's feature includes her work with Healthy Girls Save the World, a non-profit organization providing preventative health education for girls in North Carolina.
Johnson is also recognized as a student-athlete on the track and field team and her commitments to Carolina Outreach, the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy, and the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
Johnson was an NCAA National Championships qualifier in 2013 after advancing out of the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the triple jump. She finished 23rd.
