Carolina Finishes Strong At Fab Four

CARY, N.C. - The North Carolina's men's tennis team concluded action at the 2013 Duke Fab Four Invite by going 4-0 in singles matches on Sunday at the Cary Tennis Center.

Junior Oystein Steiro claimed third place in the BLACK singles flight, taking down Robbie Mudge of N.C. State by a count of 6-3, 6-2.

In the BLUE flight, freshman Johan Skattum gritted out a win in three sets over another N.C. State opponent, Beck Bond, for Carolina's second victory of the day over the familiar ACC foe.

Nelson Vick and Stuart DePaolo rounded out the day for the Tar Heels. Vick took care of Radford's Joe Mills 6-1, 6-4 to finish 13th in the BLACK singles flight. In the BLUE flight, DePaolo defeated Will Juggins of William & Mary 6-4, 7-6(2) to finish in 15th place.

Carolina will be back in action again on September 20th when they begin a weekend-long event in Charlottesville, Va.
