CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 22 North Carolina men's tennis team returns to action Wednesday when Coach Sam Paul's Tar Heels host No. 4 Ohio State.  Match time is 2:30 p.m. at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center and admission is free of charge.

North Carolina is 7-2 overall and on a four-match winning streak, including a pair of 7-0 wins this past Sunday in doubleheader action against UT-Chattanooga and N.C. Central.  The Buckeyes are currently 12-2 on the season.

This will be the 10th all-time meeting between Carolina and Ohio State.  The Buckeyes lead the all-time series 7-2.

Both teams feature a host of nationally-ranked players in their lineups.  In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Assoication rankings, Ohio State's Peter Kobelt is ranked second, Connor Smith is ranked 30th, Chris Diaz is rated 37th and Blaz Rola is ranked 62nd.  Carolina has three nationally-ranked singles players.  Sophomore Esben Hess-Olesen is 20th, freshman Brett Clark is 77th and junior Nelson Vick is 80th.  The Ohio State doubles team of Peter Kobelt and Connor Smith is currently ranked 36th.
