Chapel Hill, N.C. - The visiting squad took a 10-6 win over the home team in a full nine-inning scrimmage on Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. The two teams combined for 23 runs with one error.
Ten pitchers threw in the scrimmage. Taylore Cherry and Hobbs Johnson were the starters. Coming on in relief were Peter Hendel, Trevor Kelley, Tate Parrish, Chris Munelly, Trent Thornton, Chris McCue, Mason McCullough and Luis Paula.
The Tar Heels will hold their last scrimmage of the preseason on Tuesday afternoon at the Bosh.
