Tar Heels Hold Third Straight Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina Tar Heels held an 8 1/2 inning scrimmage on Tuesday on a great day for baseball at the Bosh. Navy beat Blue 4-2 in a game that had a combined 13 hits and three errors.

Ten pitchers got in some work on Tuesday: Taylore Cherry and Andrew Smith started, while Peter Hendel, Jack Gerraghty, Shane Taylor, Reilly Hovis, Chris O'Brien, Tate Parrish, Landon Fraley and Mason McCullough all got in some work.

Carolina will hold its next closed scrimmage on Friday afternoon.
