CHAPEL HILL — The University of North Carolina track and field teams host the Dick Taylor Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Eddie Smith Field House. Competition begins at 3 p.m. on Friday with the multis' portion of events and 10 a.m. on Saturday with the women's triple jump and shot put. An updated schedule for the meet can be found here.
The Tar Heels will compete against 10 teams in addition to hosting six clubs and several unattached individuals. Universities and colleges represented include Duke, NC State, Webber International, UNC Pembroke, Voorhees College, Alabama State, Jacksonville State, Methodist, Claflin, and St. Augustine's.
A recap of performances and full results will be available on GoHeels.com at the conclusion of each day of the meet. The event is free to attend. Fan parking will be available at the Rams Head Deck at an hourly rate; more information on parking on campus before 5 p.m. can be found here.
