CHAPEL HILL, N.C. Several North Carolina football players will participate in an autograph and photo session at The Streets at Southpoint mall on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 5-6 p.m.
The postseason "Meet The Heels" is part of Carolina's community outreach program and is a thank you to Tar Heel fans for their support during the 2012 season. Shoppers will have the chance to win free basketball tickets, an autographed football from Coach Fedora and an autographed basketball from Coach Williams. Student volunteers from UNC Global Medical Brigades will be providing gift wrapping for donations to raise money for its annual trip to Honduras.
Carolina was 6-1 at home in 2012 and finished 8-4 overall, the team's best winning percentage since the 1997 season.
UNC players will be set up in the Nordstrom Court area in the middle of the mall.
