The Tar Heel rowing team will hold its first Row for the Cure Erg-a-thon Wednesday in the Pit, in the middle of the UNC campus. The 10-hour event will include 75 rowers training on ergs throughout the day.

The team will also be selling t-shirts while collecting on-campus donations benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure's Triangle affiliate.

The Tar Heels, who compete this weekend at the Head of the Chattahoochee Regatta, plan to make Row for the Cure an annual event.
