GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina sophomore forward Charlotte Craddock has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Craddock registered nine points and two game-winning goals as No. 2 North Carolina improved to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play with wins over No. 25 Boston College, 4-0, and Dartmouth, 6-0 last weekend.

In the ACC win at Boston College, the native of Wolverhampton, England, tallied her second hat trick of the season. On Sunday against Dartmouth, she had a goal and an assist for three points.

Craddock leads North Carolina with 14 goals, having scored in all nine games in which she has played this season. She leads the league in goals per game at 1.56 and is fourth in points with 31.

This is Craddock's second weekly conference honor this year. She previously earned recognition on Sept. 18.

No. 2 North Carolina hosts No. 5 Virginia on Saturday for a top-five ACC matchup. Game time at Francis E. Henry Stadium is 1 p.m.
