Capital One Academic All-America First Team selection • NSCAA Scholar All-Region Second Team honoree • Third team All-ACC member • Named to Stihl Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team, hosted by Old Dominion • Started 15 matches and appeared in 16 games • Scored one goal and had two assists for four total points • Named to All-ACC Academic Team • UNC Top-10 Scholar-Athlete.

2013 - Sophomore Season
Named All-South Region third team • Second team All-ACC selection • No. 58 in Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 Upperclassmen • Started all 18 matches he appeared in at center back • Helped anchor a defense that ranked sixth nationally in goals-against-average (0.61) and 11th in shutout percentage (0.50) • Capital One Academic All-District selection • Named to All-ACC Academic Team • Dean's List member.

2012 - Freshman Season
Started all 23 games at defender as a true freshman • Named to the College Soccer News All-Freshman first team after helping Carolina lead the nation in goals against average and shutout percentage • Earned second-team all-freshman honors nationally from Soccer America and Top Drawer Soccer • Also scored the game-winning goal in the victory at Clemson and notched an assist in the win at College of Charleston • Earned ACC All-Freshman Team honors and was named to the ACC All-Tournament team • Despite starting all 23 games, picked up just one yellow card on the year • Named to the ACC All-Academic Team and the ACC Honor Roll.
