CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- No. 1 North Carolina returns to action after the weekend off for the exam break and will host James Madison for a pair of midweek games this week. Both the Tuesday and Wednesday games will start at 6 p.m.
The Tar Heels are coming off their eighth shutout of the year a week ago with a 13-0 win over visiting Citadel as they ran their record to 42-4 on the year.
James Madison comes in at 20-23 on the year after a series win over George Washington back on April 28 and will have had nine days off before returning to action on Tuesday.
The Tar Heels are 30-3 at home this season and an impressive 23-1 in non-conference action. The Dukes come in with a 5-13 road mark in 2013.
Junior left-hander Hobbs Johnson will get the call for Carolina on the mound on Tuesday, while James Madison will counter with right-hander Patrick Toohers. The Tar Heels have yet to announce a starter for Wednesday's contest against JMU right-hander Michael Church.
Both games will be shown live on GoHeels.com
