BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Two University of North Carolina golfers participated as individuals in the Keith Hills Invitational. Reeves Zaytoun, a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C. fired an even par 71 in the final round and tied for ninth place with a 5-over 218 total. Robert Register, a sophomore from Burlington, N.C., shot a 78 in the final round to tie for 49th place with a 235 total.
The 54-hole event was played at Keith Hills Country Club, Orange and Black courses, which features a par 71, 6.609-yard layout. Gardner-Webb won the team title with a 6-over 858 total. Host Campbell was the runner-up, five strokes back at 863. Amanjyot Singh of Campbell captured the individual title with a 2-under-par 211 total. Gardner-Webb's Matthew Yelverton and Laval's Ugo Coussaud tied for second place at 1-under 212.
